View Full Version : Troubles with network adapters in win200 Server

marcela galindo
Hi
I desinstalled 2 networks adapter and after that i
reinstalled them, but, the system or the registry, i don't
know, detects the adapters as i never desintalled them,
and the system sent me a error: "a duplicated name on the
net".

How I can delete from de system or the registry the old
information?

I hope that you could helpme.

Thanks

1. In Device Manager, click View and select Show Hidden Devices - make sure
that there are no extra or duplicate adapters listed.

2. Delete all A and PTR records for this machine from your DNS server.

3. Delete the any DHCP leases for this machine from your DHCP server.

4. Reboot.
