Hi All,
i am trying to ftp some files from win2000 laptop to a solaris 9
machine. I have not got the ftp listener started on solaris (which I
am trying to do, my unix guy is on holidays).

But I can start ftp on my laptop (win2000 pro service pack 2) and from
the 12K console I can do an ftp get.

But from the sun console ftp I do not seem to be able to get the
directory structure of my laptop and get to the files I want to ftp to
the sun machine. I've been trying dir etc but it does not tell me the
drives on the laptop or the file structure. I must be missing
something simple to get to these files.

Can anyone tell me how to find files on win2000 from a remote client
running ftp?
