Hello, since I did a format and restore on my computer, I am having a problem
with my font size in Outlook Express. I am using Windows XP and Outlook
Express 6. I also have 469 fonts in my font folder.

I looked through your archives and came across an answer to someone's
question that I thought would fix my problem, but it DID NOT WORK. This was
the response I am referring to: 11-7-2004 Try going to Internet
Explorer>tools>Internet options>accessibility (in lower right corner of
options box)>uncheck any of the formatting boxes>Ok>Ok I bet this fixes your
problem.....previously presented on this site.

After the restore I went into OE Tools/Options/Compose/Font Settings. I set
my Mail Font setting to Comic Sans MS size 14 Navy. When I bring up a new
HTML message and start to type, the size appears to be about a 10. Then to
test the font size in another way, I tried bringing up a pre-composed
stationery that had a font size set for 12, it appeared to be a 12 when I
type something. If I highlight that same text and change the font to 14, it
goes smaller than the 12 and looks like a size 10 again. I can change it
back to the size 12 and it changes to a 12 size, but if I choose any other
size than 12, the font goes to something much smaller than it is supposed to
be.

I have done many formats and restores before and have never had this problem
before. One thing I might add is this... I sent a test email to where I
work. The size 14 looked like a 10 before I sent it, but it was received as
a 14 at work. Also, it is not happening to just Comic Sans MS, but any font
I use. A size 8 font should be small but at least readable, and my size 8 in
any font you need a microscope to read the words. :)

Just as another test, I opened MS Word and text typed in there appear to be
the correct size. I hope you can help me with delimna. Thanks!
