Two Problems.
1: Name resoultion. The two machines are using Different methods of
resolving names to IPs. Easiest thing for a small network is to use the
HOSTS file. Do a search for HOSTS and you will find a sample file with
instructions on it's use. You will have to set it up on both machines.
Or just connect by IP, such as \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\Sharename
And forget Network Neirbourhood.
2: Security. Because you are running a workgroup (no Server) you will have
to supply a username and password for the machine you are trying to contact.
You will have to setup accounts on both machines for the other machine.

Remove the kNOT to reply.
But it is best to share it with the group.

get a message saying that the W2K computeris inaccessable, you may not have
administrative privliges to access this computer.
