View Full Version : Cannot add computer to Domain

Dave G.
I am running a Win2000 Server Running AD. I have about 40
client machines hitting it just fine. I am struggling
with a few client amchines, however. It seems that these
few machines were never added to the domain. The users
are logging into the local machine and just mapping the
network share. I need to upgrade them to Domain machines.
(Client machines are running WinXP Pro)When I go to add
them to the domain, I get the following message from the
server - "Insufficient system resources exist to complete
the requested service." Both the server and client
machines have adequate RAM and Disk space. How can I fix
this problem? Please help if you can, I need to get these
clients set up correctly.

thanks

Danny Sanders
I would make sure these XP computers have the latest service pack installed.
