Is there a way to join computers to a new DC with same domain instead of touching each pc?

A machine is joined to a domain and not a specific DC. So if you add an
additional DC, that doesn't require any additional steps.

Unless of course, you lost your original DC, then reinstalled it using the
same name?

Well it more like a new server thats not being migrated for some odd reason, starting from scratch, everything the same though. I was just trying to get the server more ready before actual install so there isnt alot of down time. I like to exchange servers and be up within ten minutes but thats not possible. lol

Migrated? You mean a new server in a brand new domain that you probably
created with the same exact domain name? THat will cause issues, if so. And
you want to swap the two domains? (note..don't like to use "exchange" since
that can have other meanings, especially Exchange 2000). If these are two
totally different domains with the same name, then I can see why it's not
working, and this is assuming you'r eusing ADMT.

Probably need more elaborate details of what you're trying to do, and the
steps you're performing since your hinting at stuff that I'm not sure about
and guessing/assuming, and the technical language isn't accurate...sorry...

If you're creating an entirely new domain, it will have a different SID even
if you name it the same thing. So unless you have the option to build a new
server in the existing domain before retiring the old DC, you'll have to do
some desk visits.
