View Full Version : AD "Trust" between sites question

Jerry
If a company has a Windows 2000 AD Native domain and
another company has a Mixed Windows 2000 AD domain, can a
2 way trust be set up?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Danny Sanders
The switch to native mode ONLY affects replication between Win 2k DCs and NT
4.0 BDCs in the same domain.

It has no affect on trusts or clients in trusted domains.

Jerry
So If I have a NON AD Domain "I just have a Windows NT 4.0
domain" I can set up a 2 way trust with a Native mode
Active directory domain?

Not sure if Danny is still around, so I'll jump in here. ;)

Yes, using two one-way external trusts.
