I have a Windows 2003 domain with a 2 way trust to a Windows NT domain

I have successfully added "AD\domain admins" as members of the group "NT\administrators". However when I try and add "NT\domain admins" as members of "AD\administrators" using MMC (AD Users and Computers) it fails

MMC crashes (just disappears!) with the following error logged in the Application Log
Faulting application mmc.exe, version 5.2.3790.0, faulting module netapi32.dll,
version 5.2.3790.0, fault address 0x000297b0

This error occurs when adding any group from NT into the group in AD

Does anyone know what why this error is occurring
