View Full Version : Windows 2000 Password Issue

Your name
Hello,

I need some assistance please.

We have a single site Windows 2000 AD domain. There are intermittent issues
whereby a user's password has expired but when you look in the active
directory, there are no indicatio to say that password has expired.
However, if you do a NET USER username /DOMAIN, this indicates that the
password has indeed expired.

Many thanks.

I might suggest that you take a look at the AL Tools ( Account Lockout
Tools ). There are actually several tools wrapped up in this 850kb file.
Navigate to this link to download it:

Then take a look at acctinfo.dll and LockoutStatus.exe! Very nice tools
indeed.

HTH,

Cary
