View Full Version : Changing workstations name

Samer
Hello..
i have a windows 2000 advanced sever with service pack4
installed and all my users use xp on there workstations.
i would like to change some of there workstation names
can i do that using the active directory on my server,
without going to each workstation and change the name
using the mycomputer properties?
thanks

Dave Shaw [MVP]
Not with Active Directory - but you can run a script that will rename
computer names.

-ds
