View Full Version : Changing the identification of a server with the certificate authority installed

Paul DeScenza
I need to pull a Windows 2000 server out of a domain and
add it back in (machine account was reset using Active
Directory Computers and Users Console). Since having the
Certificate Server services installed, that funtionality
is disabled. Is there a relatively simple way to
accomplish my task?

Hi Paul. See the KB link about how to use the netdom command to do such. If
you have complications, you may want to post in the win2000.active_directory
newsgroup. Netdom /? will show options. --- Steve
