That seems unusual to say the least and I really don't know what the problem is
offhand, but I would suggest that you are using at least SP3 and run netdiag on one
of your workstations and also run it on your domain controller along with dcdiag
looking for any failed tests/errors/warnings. Look in Event Viewer also for any
pertinent messages. Feel free to paste any netdiag/dcdiag results here if you want
help with them - just be sure to block out any "public" IP addresses, but leave lan
IP addresses intact. Those two tools are found on the install disk in the
support/tools folder where you will have to run the setup program there. Be sure your
dns is configured correctly for the domain as described in the link below. --- Steve
