Hello,

Does anyone know if there is a way to reset the admin
password in Windows 2000 Professional, version 5.0 Service
Pack 4?

I cannot remember my admin password, and therefor I am
unable to change it, or set up a network.

There are a couple of different ones on the page, but the one I used was "Offline NT Password & Registry Editor" amd it worked like a charm.

net users administrators *

change password to whatever and restart. Hit f8 and select
safe mode. Login as administrator with new password then
change password under mmc console and viola you is done.
