have the following problem:
I connect with a ASP.NET application that makes a connect to a web
based back-end system. the ASP.NET applicationa and the back-end are
installed on the same windows2000 server, but make use of different
virtual directories.
What i want is that i can login on the back-end using the user that is
logged in on the ASP.NET application. i have enabled Windows
Integrated Authentication on the ASP.NET application as well as on the
back-end application. furthermore i have set "impersonate" on true and
"Authentication" on windows in the web.config of the ASP.NET
application. Server is marked for delegation and the users are NOT
marked 'sensitive' in AD. When i open IE6 on the server everyting goed
fine and i am logged in on the back-end as the user that is logged on
the server. however when i connecte from a client it goes wrong.
authentication in ASP.NET goes ok but not at the back-end. when i look
in the HTTP headers i am only missing the REMOTE_USER header and that
is de field the back-end needs.
When i add a fixed account in the 'identity' setting in the
web.condig. it works also on a client.
please can anyone help me! i have schematic overview if clearfy the
architecture if neccessary.
