View Full Version : How to allow regular users access to change clock time

Yes, I would like to find out if it is possible to grant
regular users in Windows 2000 Pro access to change the
clock time.

Thank-you

You can control this through policies, but I must ask why you'd want to do
this. It can cause problems. Presuming you're on a domain, the workstations
should sync their clocks to the DC.

Thank-you for you reply. No, we are not on a Domain. We
are only running a workgroup network unfortunately. We do
not have a domain. If we did have a domain, yes, the
domain controller would be able to keep track of the time
and users wouldn't have to change it then.

Thank-you
