My Symantec antivirus realtime sca nreports a file
winbjf32.exe - it appears to be a recent file, and I don't
think it is necessary for operation. It is being reported
as a Trojan start page. Is it needed t orun Windows or can
I safely remove it?

I would definitley remove or quarantine it if your antivirus program reports
it as a virus. It is not a critical system file for Windows 2000. ---

Thanks, Steve. I'll try that.
