I type in

Enter your command like this:

net use q: \\172.16.1.149\c$ /user:xp_name\user password

Can you ping 172.16.1.149?

OK. Let check a policy on Windows XP. On Windows XP click Start -> Run ->
gpedit.msc.

Drill down under Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security
Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options. Here look for policy
"Network Access: Sharing and security model for local accounts". Double
click on this policy and change from Gust (default) to "Classic - local user
authenticate as themselves". Close all the windows and try again.
